The Beast of the Barrens

Well, the weeekend is here again, and time for something light.  I threw this new one on the Tube again, and it explores UFOs, Bigfoot, and extraterrestrial sights.  As always, let me know what you think and if this is too much of a distraction. https://youtu.be/p7TnKbGyCvg?si=Blbj14cjCr1Lji81

A Chat With Mr Wriggles

Image
I recently watched the new film, Late Night With the Devil , with David Dastmalchian, and honestly, enjoyed it quite a bit.  It has a bit of everything...Abraxas, Bohemian Grove, the occult, Satan...the movie is a treasure trove of goodies for those who are into Hollywood symbolism and the occult.  Some conspiracy theorist types have made mention that movies such as these provide a glimpse into the power workings of those who run the world...sort of like a "mention of the method."  Yet in the case of the film, there is a true dark underbelly that references the consequences of belonging to such a group and taking in part of worldly pleasures.  Still, I was more curious about one of the film's characters, Mr. Wriggles.  Who is Mr. Wriggles?  Here you go on what the character is : Mr. Wriggles is the main antagonist in the 2024 found footage supernatural horror film "Late Night with the Devil". Portrayed by Ingrid Torelli as Lilly D'Abo, Mr. Wriggles ...

A Poltergeist Story

You know the drill by now...this has taken up most of my time of late, but don't fret, I'll return soon.   https://youtu.be/Bn-8357BB4o?si=WhC1QTCmhFoO3AGT

An Incident at Salt Lake

Image
I've actually been working on another post with this blog, but I'm not quite there yet...in the meantime, in curious, feel free to check out another YouTube post.  I attempted to incorporate some high strangeness to the story; the first one was tough to put together, but more to come soon hopefully : https://youtu.be/LBdnQaotAsM?si=OlSSy8i7t7xeqIjE Let me know what you think!

Whispers from Magonia

Image
Well, I did it...to assist in this whole experience, I started a YouTube channel.  Here it is : Whispers from Magonia - YouTube   Now before all the criticisms...the channel will feature stories that blend together elements of high strangeness that have been recorded over time.  Of course, this doesn't necessarily relate to Gnosticism, but it does to me from a simulation theory standpoint. The premise will be to feature a new video every week; I'll be using AI generated art and an AI generated voice.  Now for all you haters...my voice is awful.  If you recall, I did a podcast or two years ago, and well...the commentary on my voice was less than flattering.  Hey, I'm Wisconsin kid with  Midwest nasally voice..what can I do?  So feel free to check it out, drop comments, even suggest some items to look into.  Who knows, the experience may create some experiences of my own as well.

Some Thoughts on the Direction of this Blog

Image
Well, as you can tell, I skipped out on the Substack idea.  I liked it, but I really don't think people want to get a Substack account...so I'll just keep posting it on Blogger. Another thing I've noticed too of late; I've been enjoying the AI component to my Gnostic research. It's not perfect, but I am appreciating the idea of being able to ask the internet it's thoughts on Gnostic ideas.  Better yet, as with the Betty and Barney article as well as the Las Vegas article, the ideas of throwing Gnostic sensibilities on to stories of high strangeness are exciting to me.  Not only am I learning some different ways to go about approaching this absurd stories, but I'm also trying to share what I learn as well. So, comments are open!  Let me know what you think! And to whoever commented on the lack of a Substack link...well, now you know!
